Why is your role so important at Similarweb?

Our QA Engineers play a key role in maintaining top-notch product quality & enhancing user experience at Similarweb. As part of a big data company, youll join a cross-platform team that lays the groundwork for other teams, making your work highly impactful. This role blends manual & automation testing, ensuring robust, scalable solutions while working closely with developers as an integral part of the squad.

So, what will you be doing all day?

• Execute manual & automated tests to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, & scalability.
• Develop & maintain detailed test plans, test cases, & test scripts based on functional & technical specifications.
• Identify, document, & prioritize software defects, & work closely with development & support teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, & other stakeholders to ensure the quality & stability of software releases.
• Conduct regression testing to validate software changes & updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot & resolve issues encountered during testing.

This is a great opportunity job for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Is professional in designing & executing test cases for web-based applications.
• Has strong knowledge & understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knows HTML/CSS.
• Is familiarity with agile development practices & tools.
• Good understanding of how Web Browsers work & using Dev tools.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Playwright or Codecept
