The Quality Assurance Specialist takes a holistic view of all projects, working with our testing team based in Costa Rica. You will work closely with Project Managers & Technologists to mitigate risks & manage delivery, so strong organizational & interpersonal skills are key.  You will have the opportunity to work across a range of world-class brands, applying your skills to large & small projects including complex back-end systems, social apps, rich interactive web experiences & even physical digital products. The QA Specialist is a self-starter, working as part of core project teams to see projects through from conception to delivery & on-going monitoring & refinement.

You Will: 

  • Monitor the quality of projects based on the requirements & design specifications 
  • Attend meetings, provide status updates, learn, & provide feedback 
  • Communicate test results, issues, & risks found to project team members, project managers, & QA management through the various channels 
  • Be co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements & design specifications. 
  • Identify test data, create & maintain comprehensive test plans, write & maintain test cases/scripts 
  • Apply industry standard testing methodology, strategies & industry best practices 
  • Create traceability matrix documents & checklist documentation based upon project requirements 
  • Create defect tickets & track issues to resolution 
  • Create reports & related metrics at different levels 
  • Perform functional & non-functional testing  
  • Execute regression tests based on design specifications & requirements  
  • Support QA estimate creation 
  • Continuously grow knowledge of QA best practices, processes, & automation tools

You Have: 

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members as needed to achieve shared goals & the success of projects. 
  • Good understanding of project lifecycle, industry standards, testing methodologies 
  • Ability to ask the right questions & identify if any information is missing or unclear 
  • Ability to identify & raise risks 
  • Ability to analyze & understand details & requirements of projects & tickets 
  • Ability to provide direct, clear & concise feedback
