Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, & more, via their smartphones. As a Technical Project Manager at Jackpocket, you will play an integral role in the continued development & delivery of Jackpockets business critical applications. You will spearhead sprint planning & serve as an intermediary between engineers & business stakeholders to clearly define, structure, & prioritize development projects & their components in order to facilitate the software development process. 

Responsibilities

• Implement project management best practices according to Jackpockets processes while always looking for ways to make them more efficient
• Own scrum ceremonies & processes across multiple technical teams, establishing best practices & defining clear expectations for output & goals  
• Collaborate across technical & business stakeholders to define project plans, mitigate risks & manage expectations
• Work with project stakeholders to develop schedules & establish milestones  
• Ensure project progress against defined milestones & deadlines by holding the team accountable
• Communicate with & serve as the intermediary between stakeholders & technical counterparts, ensuring clearly defined, standardized, & properly prioritized tickets 
• Work to remove & prevent bottlenecks in the development lifecycle, liaising between & influencing project teams & stakeholders to achieve directives
• Ensure timely reporting on progress from key stakeholders, lead check-ins & retrospectives, & continually follow up on critical action items 

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading technical projects, ideally in a fast paced or startup environment
• Knowledge of & experience facilitating scrum processes & ceremonies, CSM preferred but not required
• Outstanding communication & organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively with & influence technical & non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with Jira, admin experience a plus
• Analytical mindset & data driven approach to project management coupled with strong problem solving skills
• Willingness & ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills to the team in order to meet their goals & objectives

The base compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000
