 What we do: 

As an Associate Account Manager on the Mid-Market sales team, you will be responsible for exceptional sales support for two Sales Executives. You will focus on developing & supporting new business within our Fortune 200-1000 clients. 

What youll do:

As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing revenue by building & managing relationships with a variety of partners spanning several verticals within the Mid-Market team. You will be a key contributor in shaping how Account Management is handled for the Mid-Market team.

Reporting to the Manager, Account Management, with a dot line into the Mid Market Sales Lead, primary responsibilities include, onboarding new partners, assisting with reporting of campaign performance & invoicing, proactively managing relationships, optimizing partnerships, improving on best practices, & strengthening partner integrations with the Tripadvisor platform.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to master technical systems & processes, & polished communication skills (both internally & externally). Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Manager, Account Management with a dot line into the Regional Sales Lead, the Associate Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the campaign across pre & post sale cycle to drive revenue growth & department goals, including onboarding new clients, understanding individual market needs, & maintaining strong relationships. 
  • Collaborates with AE to drive results for their clients & delivered revenue growth through ideating around new/innovative opportunities for new business leveraging product expertise & sales forward thinking to upselling/renewing existing campaigns & partnerships
  • Strategic partner & main point of contact to key internal stakeholders (Sales, Planning, Ad Operations, Marketing, etc.) & external clients & agencies translating advertisers business challenges & objectives to Tripadvisors digital advertising products 
  • Provide & maintain best in class client services & project management as the main sales point of contact for all pre & post-sale activities across all digital advertising activity (direct, programmatic, custom content, etc.) including but not limited to:
  • Liaises between a variety of clients & internal teams to address client feedback on marketing proposals & media plans to ensure optimal plan that adheres to campaign parameters & KPIs included in the brief 
  • Manages all pre-launch communication between client & internal teams including but not limited to setting timelines for approvals, deliverable needs, asset management, creative & tag casing to ensure client satisfaction & a timely campaign launch
  • Leads all post-launch communication including but not limited to aligning on KPIs/measures of success, troubleshooting tag or creative issues, delivery/analysis of campaign reporting, & gaining approval on optimizations to ensure full delivery & campaign success
  • Able to navigate independently from management - independent thinker driving key decisions for the deal across all touchpoints from quote to cash including upsell ideation & future program deal ideation 
  • Work with accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting & invoicing of partners
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders; participate in special projects & initiatives
  • Proactively suggest improvements to current systems & processes to contribute independently to continuous process improvement


  • 2+ years minimum professional experience in digital media at an agency/client/publisher prefer in an Account Manager or Sales role
  • Understands digital concepts & is up to date on emerging ad formats
  • Consistent & proven track record in successfully developing relationships & managing key accounts to drive revenue growth for partner accounts in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across all levels including senior management
  • Proficient in Excel with an analytical ability is preferred
  • Systems knowledge with Sales Tech & Digital Platforms (Salesforce, OMS, DFP, Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS etc.)
  • 25% travel may be required
  • Strong technical understanding. Ability to quickly learn new processes & work with development teams as necessary to troubleshoot problems
  • Superb English written & oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities simultaneously & consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexible & adaptable personality; self-motivated, enthusiastic, & able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing & dynamic environment
