What we do in Business Operations: 

  • The B2B Business Operations team supports the global B2B sales teams with go-to-market readiness to sell new & existing products. We do this through a combination of sales communications, training, sales systems support, sales forecasting, data & analytics. We partner without product management, finance, human resources & engineering to ensure we are able to grow market share & increase revenue through efficient & effective processes. 

  • We are seeking a leader who will own & manage all aspects of the global sales compensation program including strategic design, plan creation, calculation & overall execution throughout the entire life cycle of incentive compensation for Sales, Customer Success & all supporting roles. You will become a thought leader for the BizOps Comp team on how to look forward with our incentive comp plan to ensure it is both driving desired business outcomes as well as staying competitive for talent retention. 

What youll do:

  • Manage a team responsible for managing the end to end sales compensation process from target setting to payout & strategic plan design across three unique sales teams, 400+ individuals

  • Develop & implement corporate and/or organizational sales compensation standard operating procedures. 

  • Lead the strategic  roadmap for sales compensation & compensation analytics strategy.

  • Work with the GTM organization on strategic plans for new products & services. 

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional areas, business strategies, & the companys goals.

  • Recognized as an influential leader, interacts internally & externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of critical matters.

  • Ability to persuade key decision makers & manage strategic communication..

  • Manages, prepares, administers, & directs the control of the sales compensation budget with finance. 

  • Research market best practices, identify trends, & make recommendations for special initiatives such as holistic total sales rewards, sales contests, sales recognition programs, etc.

  • Partner with legal teams to align on new & existing sales incentive plan designs & be responsible for implementation of policies & administration.

  • Be the voice of compensation to any/all external consultants working on sales compensation plans or systems. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Financial Planning & Analysis, including at least 4 years of experience in Compensation with a focus on contributing to plan design, policy, & execution of compensation processes with experience working in a large, global environment.

  • At least 3+ years experience leading & managing a team

  • Comfortable working with large data sets using SQL, Tableau, etc to drive decision making & analytics

  • Technology, Saas, and/or  travel  industry experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
