About the Role

Peloton is seeking an International Freight Analyst to join our New York based Supply Chain team. In this role you will be supporting the Senior Manager, International Freight to improve speed to market, reduce transportation costs & continuously improve processes with our international transportation providers. You will help to manage performance of our providers against KPIs by identifying process deviations leading to delays in inventory receipt in our North American & International DCs & warehouses. By leveraging data from Pelotons supply chain visibility tool you will ensure transparency & accuracy of milestones presented by & to the freight forwarder.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment tracking & tracing
  • Obtaining & dissecting of forecasting on a lane level into all markets, communication to providers
  • Ensure execution of freight forwarders against committed performance KPIs
  • Container optimization & shipments size threshold management
  • Request, Review & approval of spot rate quotes
  • Freight cost calculation
  • Actioning shipment level deviations, analyzing root cause, ensuring corrective action is implemented & executed consistently
  • Collecting forwarders deviations for MBRs & cross referencing it to forwarders & Pelotons ERP Tool
  • Auditing of providers freight invoices
  • Participation in MBR/QBRs with freight forwarders
  • Monitor market developments & understanding how they can affect Pelotons supply chain

Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 3 years with an Importer or Freight forwarder in a similar role
  • Ability to translate data into clear action items & insights
  • Highly organized & structured
  • Detail & process oriented
  • Continuous improvement mindset, consistently challenging the status-quo
  • Experience with E2Open, NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus
  • Market knowledge on TPEB & FEWB with focus on Oceanfreight
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prone to change
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence internal & external stakeholders to achieve desired results
  • Overall passion for Supply Chain & Transportation
