About the Role
As the Director, Deal Desk you will be an involved & important leader within the Confluent Sales Operations team & will play a pivotal role in enabling the next phase of Confluent's growth by providing first-class deal desk support to the global sales force. You will develop & manage processes across pricing, quoting, deal review, contracts, & deal structuring & support & enable the sales department in these areas. 

This role will require thought leadership & the ability to work cross-functionally with business partners. You will be the liaison between our sales teams & our external customer requirements. Organizationally, this is a highly visible role that will report to the Vice President of GTM Strategy & Operations. Daily responsibilities include supporting global sales teams, sales leadership, finance, accounting, & legal organizations.

The ideal candidate will be able to help design, implement, & manage processes, influence deal structuring, pricing, contract management, work effectively with sales, & most importantly build a successful deal desk function. As a self-motivated problem solver, vast experience in building teams & implementing business processes is required.
