Were looking for someone to lead our Global Creative Strategy team, partnering closely with our broader sales & marketing teams to drive comprehension of creative opportunities on Pinterest. This person will also raise the bar for creative excellence & influence revenue growth for our business. As a key function within our Global Marketing department, this diverse team of writers, designers, strategists, producers, technologists & creative directors are tasked with empowering brands, creative agencies & businesses of all sizes to bring the worlds best ideas to Pinterest & its users. Youll manage team growth, impact & operations & serve as an industry expert on what makes great creative on Pinterest. Ideal candidates will have hybrid experience across creative, strategy, operations & business development.

What you'll do:

  • Build, lead & inspire a talented team of across North America & EMEA markets
  • Be accountable for a clear & compelling narrative to the creative community, focused on driving comprehension of the possibilities & best practices on the platform
  • Lead team operations, including project prioritization, resource allocation, budget oversight & tracking team impact towards goals
  • Directly manage a leadership team of regional & discipline-specific managers
  • Ensure the team has a strong pipeline of world-class creative examples to help show the rest of the market the way
  • Work closely with other global teams, like sales, product, insights & measurement, to set & execute against shared goals that drive meaningful impact on our business
  • Build & maintain relationships with key creative agency & brand executives
  • Present & sell creative work in high-value client meetings, using strong storytelling skills & a clear point-of-view on why it makes sense for the brand & Pinterest

What we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of digital marketing experience with agency, platform or brand
  • Deep understanding of the current state of the industry, including creative agency & in-house team dynamics, the digital production ecosystem, taking a global approach to campaign development & how to localize content
  • Enthusiasm & appreciation for the importance of measuring the success of creative campaigns using internal & external measurement solutions
  • Track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams of 15+ people across different regions & time zones, ideally with international oversight
  • Ability to represent Pinterest at senior level at conferences & in senior-level client engagements
  • Strong portfolio of creative work that showcases ability to build & influence impactful creative across a variety of verticals & marketing objectives
