Warby Parker is on the lookout for a well-rounded Associate Manager to drive demand planning across our manufacturing network. . As a member of the Corporate Manufacturing team, you'll also be responsible for supporting strategic decision-making through data analytics, considering capacity, capability, & cost.   Our ideal candidate will excel in this role if they're collaborative, data-driven, & eager to lend a hand to support a variety of projects.  What youll do: 

  • Demand forecasting across Warby Parkers manufacturing network
  • Support financial budgeting and  tracking for our facilities
  • Work closely & proactively with Manufacturing Operations stakeholders to identify & address priority business questions
  • Own reporting & drive improvements across key metrics related to OEE, customer lead time, cost, capacity utilization, & more
  • Partner with our Inventory, Logistics, Product Development, & other departments to roll out cross-functional projects
  • Work with the Manufacturing Manager to operationalize strategic business objectives 
  • Manage a Manufacturing Support Coordinator to work with our CX team & solve manufacturing-related customer concerns
  • Work directly with domestic & international facilities to monitor & improve performance

Who you are:

  • Backed by 35 years of experience in a supply chain or manufacturing environment 
  • Passionate about strategic planning & data analysis (enjoy both digging into the details & long term, blue sky planning)
  • A positive team leader & exceptional team player who can quickly build respect across stakeholder groups
  • Able to work both independently & collaboratively with internal & external partners
  • A strong communicator
  • Highly organized (you build out processes & tools needed to get stuff done & keep things on track)
  • Always looking at ways to improve whatever youre working on
  • Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Extra credit: 

  • Previous experience with demand planning
  • Previous experience with large-scale budget planning & management 
  • Lean Six Sigma training
  • Experience with assemble-to-order production
