Life House Hotels is seeking a travel-obsessed, creatively ambitious marketing professional to join the Brand Marketing Team as the lead on all press & social media initiatives. This candidate will play a critical role in elevating the Life House Brand via thoughtful storytelling across consumer & business press & owned social media channels.

The ideal candidate is always willing to roll up their sleeves & take on multiple projects at once. He or she has an always be pitching mentality & values a targeted pitch more than a generic pitch. Additionally, this candidate is excited about the Life House brand & is eager to grow within the company.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing. You will also support the CEO as needed. The final title of the role is subject to change based on professional experience.


  • Lead all aspects of press, including consumer & business, on a local & national level
  • Develop a robust strategy to support new hotels by building buzz leading up to, during & after launches
  • Identify a target list of publications, journalists, audiences & angles for hotel, restaurant & bar launches
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for existing hotels, ensuring all properties remain top of mind all year long
  • Craft & amplify a narrative about the Life House brand with the goal of elevating the brand & driving bookings
  • Develop a strategy (as needed) to support future business related announcements (i.e. funding, partnerships)
  • Develop & maintain a database of local, regional & national publications & journalists for on-going pitching
  • Manage all inbound press requests & overnight press stays at hotels


  • Manage all aspects of social media, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn
  • Develop a thoughtful strategy for social media, with a focus on Instagram, for the brand, restaurants & bars
  • Launch creative, out-of-the-box social media campaigns to drive engagement, bookings & foot traffic
  • Test new social media concepts (i.e. the same filter tone) to elevate & differentiate the brand
  • Amplify press stories across social, with a focus on LinkedIn, media to create awareness among B2B partners
  • Source & manage all social media influencers, including overnight stays, invites to events & more
  • Develop a Brand Ambassador program with a targeted list of influencers to elevate the brand
  • Manage all inbound social requests & overnight influencer stays at hotels


  • Support the growth & development of the Executive Team through opportunities with press, panels & more
  • Create reporting templates for press & social media to show the impact of your work on the business
  • Support the Brand Marketing Team on brand campaigns, launch events & more as needed
  • Continue to learn about industry trends & find creative ways of applying to the Life House business


  • 4 to 6 years of highly relevant press experience; social media experience a plus
  • You have existing relationships with national journalists & writers at consumer publications
  • Bonus if you have existing relations with business journalists & writers
  • You have a proven track record of securing coveted press for brands
  • You take notes, are extremely organized & know how to manage your time
  • You are a self-starter & can prioritize projects on your own
  • You are a perfectionist & have a high attention to detail
  • You can manage multiple projects at once with little direction
  • You are a team player & enjoy collaborating with others
  • You know the fast-paced nature of the hotel industry
