We are seeking a Developer Tools Manager to lead our Developer Experience team, who ensures developers have the right tools, processes, & environment to maximize productivity & create the greatest business value possible. The DXE is the foundation for the engineering teams' success. They make it easy for developer teams to focus on their highest purpose & generate the highest value by solving, automating, & eliminating the daily toil developers encounter. They are a major unlocking force that boosts teams to new heights.

What You Will Do:

• Set the conditions under which innovation & creativity will thrive
• Navigate the link between developer experience & customer experience
• Empower developers to innovate & ship code without fear
• Know when to offer guardrails & guide a better understanding of risk
• Know when to implement forcing functions that prevent mistakes
• Support the pipeline by aggressively automating blocking factors
• Manage & optimize the suite of developer tools that teams rely on to quickly deliver high-quality code

Who You Are:

• Experienced manager with experience  recruiting, training, & retaining problem solvers & collaborators
• Be a sounding board for developers
• Be interested in building diverse & inclusive teams
• Passionate about driving standards & frameworks to improve  engineering effectiveness & productivity 
• Able to communicate the needs of developers to management in a way that makes sense to them
• Set & evangelize metrics that track developer productivity
• Have deep understanding & convey how the success of & investment in engineering teams supports the success of the business overall
