THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Promotion Operations Senior Manager to join the Sports Operations team to help drive the strategy & execution of FanDuels promotional functions by helping to research, develop & deliver new processes to ensure our users have a positive experience & continue to choose FanDuel as their go-to Sportsbook. This role will report to the Director of Sports Content Operations. 

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead an operational team, with an emphasis on coaching & motivation, that is responsible for creating, managing, publishing, & merchandising promotions on FanDuel
  • Monitor & audit our platform content to ensure team KPIs on accuracy & precision are met or exceeded, with an eye on eventual automation of the process. 
  • Educate & report to the wider business on established KPIs
  • Manage the end-to-end process of promotion creation; including design, testing, setup, publishing, QA, fulfillment & merchandising of ATL promotions 
  • Develop systems to assess team bandwidth, resourcing, & structure to deliver marketing requests & strategy
  • Contribute to improving the quality & efficiency of internal Digital Operations processes & tooling to deliver promotions at scale & improve quality of life for team members
  • Act as a primary source of knowledge on the customer experience & provide feedback on strategic issues & opportunities across the business 
  • Collaborate closely with key partners in Marketing, Commercial, Product, & Risk & Trading to plan & deliver promotional campaigns & long term improvements
  • Instigate & deliver large projects requiring contribution from multiple teams
  • Master internal tooling to evaluate risk & lead triage efforts to reduce cost of errors & improve customer satisfaction

THE STATS:

  • Minimum of two years in a management role with direct reports preferred
  • A great colleague, leader & teammate - someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves to complete a task
  • A methodical planner with high attention to detail
  • Creative thinker & problem solver; short term, medium term & long term
  • Proven experience improving complex and/or subpar systems or tools & defining requirements
  • Strategically minded with a focus on KPIs & analytics
  • Ability to develop operational frameworks that balance quality with efficiency
  • Proven track record of delivering quality outcomes for stakeholders & getting initiatives over the line
  • Influential leader with the ability to make an impact in departments outside of the team to improve efficiencies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from all different pillars of the organization
  • Process oriented with focus on proactive planning & scheduling
  • Experience using Knime & SQL a plus
  • General sports betting & gaming knowledge a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $101,000 - $135,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs & market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
