Girls Who Code (GWC) is excited to bring our successful 6-12th Grade Club model (ages 11-18) to girls around the world! The Outreach Manager, International will play a crucial role in ensuring that GWC successfully meets its goal of serving 6,000 girls across 500 Clubs in three strategic countries in Year 1 of implementation - what we do in this first year will inform a larger roadmap defining future expansion.
The Outreach Manager will support the growth of Girls Who Code (GWC) by creating systems, infrastructure, & implementing business expansion strategy in new international markets. The Outreach Manager will secure & manage large-scale government, school district, library network & non-profit partnerships to help our programs scale across the globe.
The successful candidate must be comfortable wearing many hats一 from outreach & communications, to hands-on operational execution 一 they must demonstrate the ability to develop & scale programs & processes. The ideal Outreach Manager candidate is a detailed project manager who can execute in a dynamic environment. They will be directly involved in all aspects of Girls Who Code's international programming.
Outreach & Partnerships
-Conduct research, landscape analysis, & synthesize information on diverse topics relating to international program expansion
-Conduct outreach to potential community partners & secure major partnerships in target countries
-Manage a portfolio of community partners across target countries (eg. government, school district, library network & non-profit partnerships)
-Drive programmatic expansion through collaboration with community partners
-Renew & grow partnerships year-over-year
Project Management & Collaboration
-Develop project plans to tightly manage execution of GWC Clubs in target countries
-Collaborate with legal, marketing, system operations & product teams to support both short & long-term operational systems
-Develop systems for cross-team communication & transparency around work streams; think creatively about how we can always support improved cross-team & organization-wide communication & collaboration
-Understand application management process, identify operational challenges as they arise, & collaborate with operations team to anticipate growth
-Identify key systems & process improvements necessary for high-quality program execution
-Manage a team of remote, part-time staff based in target countries with a focus on program expansion
