Job Description

What we expect of you, day to day

  • Design & oversee business development plans for CEE cluster.
  • Lead the evolution of the new business models, ensuring they remain relevant to business needs & accommodates new revenue opportunities.
  • Develop & execute on-boarding plans for new clients.
  • Develop & drive Client & market growth initiatives.
  • Develop & execute plan for Fintechs as a new clients for Visa
  • Evaluate Client & market readiness for new sales activities & set-up support plans
  • Drives client facing activities across the CEE markets including workshops, webinars, & calls to ensure the proper education & support to the new business development initiatives.
  • Leverage matrix & liaison with all relevant functions with regards to strategic business development initiatives
  • Builds strong relationships across other functions within Visa Europe, e.g. Consulting, Marketing & Finance, ensuring new business opportunities are pursued in a joined up fashion.


What we're after...

  • Considerable experience in a business-to-business, business development or account management role
  • Significant payments & client management knowledge & experience, including deal negotiations & complex payment related issues
  • Educated to degree level
  • People management & leadership skills
  • Proven influencing, selling & negotiation skills
  • Financial acumen & ability to manage budgets
  • Commercial understanding, the ability to identify opportunities & propose solutions
  • An ability to represent the views of assigned partners in order to drive change & prioritisation internally.
  • A high degree of flexibility & ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Relationship building expertise
  • Highly articulate with excellent presentation & interpersonal skills & ability to influence senior external decision makers.
  • Willingness to travel
