 About Data & Analytics at iCapital:  

The Product & Technology department includes multiple teams dedicated to creating an industry-leading platform that manages the full lifecycle of alternative investments. We are looking for outstanding data scientists who can help drive iCapitals firmwide data science platform.. . 

As part of the Data & Analytics team, some areas of responsibility may include: 

• Leveraging open-source technologies & cloud solutions to build elegant features that our clients will love. 
• Developing & automating large scale, high-performing data platform infrastructure to drive iCapitals business growth & enable data-driven organization.
• Streamlining the ingestion of raw data from various sources into our Data Lake & Data Warehouse.
• Designing data models for optimal storage & retrieval that represent the product entities & meet business requirements.
• Performing data cleansing & transformation, as well as create predictive & classification models.
• Creating data-driven insights for our shareholders using machine learning & statistical techniques.
• You will build recommendation engines & impact measurement tools for Sales & Marketing to increase impact & operational effectiveness across the customer journey
• You will also build, test, & scale statistical & machine learning models that measure & amplify impact across the entire advertiser journey from acquisition to growth & retention 

The ideal candidate is... 

• Familiar with SQL, Python, or Pytorch
• Familiar with clustering techniques & recommendation engine frameworks
• Familiar with Deep Learning & Natural Language Processing (NLP) frameworks
• Have past work or internship experience using data science tools in a corporate environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate & work effectively with individuals, strengthening relationships to achieve win-win solutions
• Ability to look at things differently, debug, troubleshoot, design, & implement solutions to technical issues
• Possesses foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable to take on new responsibilities & be detail oriented
• Technologically savvy & proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelors degree program in computer science (or related major)
• Strong in verbal & written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States*
