The ideal candidate for this role has 3+ years of quality assurance expertise in a test-driven Salesforce environment. In-depth Salesforce understanding & knowledge of software QA methodologies will be crucial to deploying highly refined & error-free Salesforce applications to our Salesforce ecosystem.
As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the Trilogy Salesforce development team with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of Salesforce applications & deployment. You will be involved in the business requirement process, creating the test scenarios to be able to effectively test the applications. You will work closely with both the business analysts, technical architects & developers to help guarantee the developed code meets the requirements & attains the highest level of quality. During testing, you will be thinking outside of the box to understand the various scenarios & configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained & through doing so drive regression testing across the salesforce applications. You will be responsible for defining & driving innovative automated testing strategies into our overall development processes that support & enhance the current Quality Assurance processes within Trilogy Education Services.
Work as part of cross-functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery.
Designing & supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure & providing qa expertise for our business & development teams.
Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases
Proactively bringing issues & problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing & implementing innovative solutions to solve them
Be meticulous about documentation & maintaining a robust log of all test cases & test results.
Ensure that all tests scenarios are executed & give regular feedback on the status of quality.
Use appropriate measures & KPIs to validate & report on salesforce application quality.
Be a creative thinker who can quickly identify & test for functional edge cases outside of expected functionality workflow.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong background in, & at least 3+ years of working in quality assurance.
3-5 years of working within the Salesforce CRM platform.
Thorough understanding of QA processes in agile development environments.
Experience in writing & executing process testing & functional testing.
Proficient with bug tracking & test management toolsets to support development processes.
Salesforce Administrator Certification (or a willingness to pursue this certifications in the first 6 months).
