Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team focusing on territory & enterprise accounts. The Sales Engineer will assist in driving new business from prospective & existing customer accounts within their respective assigned territory, & meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals. This position will organize, plan, direct, & coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect.

Qualifications:
Required Skills/Experience
o Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
o Security analytics experience
o At least two years of experience as a field systems engineer or consultant
o At least two years of experience as a field systems engineer software industry
o Excellent knowledge of general networking concepts, Linux
o Strong understanding of security & information event management (SIEM)
o Hands on Experience with ArcSight, SPLUNK, Net Witness, Q1 Radar, Nitro SIEM
o Knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Perl
o Confident in front of customers & audiences
o Passion for sales & tech - desire to grow' your sales engineering career with a top-notch startup
o Coachable & able to take training/feedback with a positive approach
o Self-motivated & strong work ethic 
o Clear, concise & effective communicator 
o Strong presentation skills & commitment to customer satisfaction
o Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept & solution demonstrations

Responsibilities
o Provide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical & product demonstrations
o Act as a business resource to the customer/prospect & provide "industry expert" executive level selling practices with consistent communication & on-going technical consultation
o Proactively drive Strategic & Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accounts
o Play a proactive "Technical Account Management" role within target accounts including relationship & business development activities
o Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, & Product Managers, the Sales Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Enterprise Business Representatives (demand generation) & their pre-sales customers
o Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing & delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online & via phone
o Support the regional Sales Organization to ensure timely & successful closing of sales to potential customers
o Liaison between customers & Product Management to communicate relevant feedback & customer requirements
o Assist in planning & conducting mid/high-level meetings with customers & prospects
o Ability to quickly learn, apply & position technical knowledge related Anomali's technology & competitor offerings
