THE STORY

Like most guys, we just want getting dressed to be easy. But somewhere along the way things got complicated. Nothing seemed to fit quite right, quality was lacking & shopping was a painful exercise of trial & error. There were somehow way too many options, or none. And whenever we did find something we liked, we knew it would be a little different the next time we looked. So we decided to fix that.

We started with underwear & socks, things that could make you more comfortable every single day. Since then, weve gone on to reinvent other essentials that didnt meet our standards for comfort, performance, quality, or design. If you only need one version of it, we only make the best possible versionand once we get it right, we dont change a thing.

THE ROLE

Were looking for a Brand Marketing Manager whos eager to make an impact on our fast-growing brand. Our ideal candidate is a brand-first, highly adaptable marketer who can steward the brand across all key touch points.This role reports to the VP of Brand on our Brand Marketing team, presenting aunique opportunity to own & evolve the brand awareness initiatives of a digitally native, direct-to-consumer brand.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Brand Management: day-to-day stewardship of the brand across all marketing channels & touchpoints, in partnership with the VP of Brand. The Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross functional teams - from Performance Marketing & Merch to Creative Services to aggregate insights & develop 360-strategies to increase brand awareness (paid, owned, & earned).
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: develop on-brand marketing partnerships & collaborations, both ongoing & project based, as well as vet inbound partnership, sponsorship, & collaboration opportunities.
  • Influencer & Community Development: develop & rollout plans for building & fostering a community around the Mack Weldon brand to generate word-of-mouth buzz & grassroots awareness.
  • Public Relations: lead agency relationships & manage all press & media programs from briefing through to execution. This includes: briefing docs for all interviews/reporter meetings; developing media kits & writing press releases; securing brand-enhancing coverage; & product seeding -- with the goal of increasing brand awareness & PR value.
  • Events & Activations: end-to-end management of brand events, activations, & sponsorships to increase brand awareness, foster community & support business goals - including in-store & remote.
  • Social Media: oversee a Social Media Associate & collaborate on the content, planning, social media strategy & growth of organic social media channels including Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest.
  • Trends: Build & maintain an understanding of industry trends to make informed recommendations about brand & communications strategy.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or Advertising
  • Proven success with creative & strategic brand marketing work
  • Proven success with social media strategy & growing organic marketing channels
  • Experience with influencers and/or brand ambassador programs
  • Demonstrated passion & proclivity for storytelling
  • Exceptional organizational & multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team, with all levels of the organization, in a fast-paced & ever-changing environment
  • Strong interest in retail/fashion & the digital, direct-to-consumer space
