The Office Experience OffX Assistant role at Meetup is charged with helping to cultivate the entire experience for employees, supporting a diverse & talented team, & crafting the culture & physical environment that supports our work. In this fast paced, physically demanding role you will be organized, energetic, efficient, & have a whole lot of hustle! Going above & beyond is a requirement, with attention to detail & customer service being your focus.

What youll get to do in this role:

  • Assist with daily office preparation, including resetting of communal spaces & conference rooms
  • Setting up/breaking down all conference rooms, maintaining conference room tidiness, including deep cleaning
  • Partner with daily porters to ensure re-stocking of commercial-sized fridges with food & beverages
  • Work with porters to maintain communal space & kitchen tidiness, load & unload dishwashers as needed, & restock bathrooms across all floors
  • Work with Office Coordinator & Front Desk Coordinator to keep supply rooms / mail area stocked & tidy
  • Assist with meeting room setup & breakdown for onsite meetings & luncheons
  • Assist with facilities tasks including but not limited to workstation seat relocations, furniture & decor, building & installations, swag inventory organizing, etc.
  • Assist Office Experience Team with all queue needs for office tickets
  • Assist Office Coordinator with Tuesday Team breakfasts
  • Assist in floor plan organization & updates
  • Assist in vendor relationship management
  • Assist Office Coordinator with janitorial & office supply inventory
  • Greet & assist visitors when they arrive if needed
  • Assist with event set-up & prep events, including moving & arranging tables/chairs, food supplies & various equipment as needed
  • Help to quickly resolve employee issues or complaints
  • Reception coverage for Front Desk Coordinators lunch & provide end-of-day front desk coverage
