We are looking for a Strategy Lead to champion Story development & advise on the development of Iconic Innovations for clients. You will be working in intense project teams staffed with diverse & brilliant strategists, writers, designers, collaborators & company leadership.
At various times, you will be a business strategist, a skilled interviewer, a researcher, a facilitator, an inventor & a partner to a writer or an art director. Co: is a culture of developing & sharing, not a culture of disappearing & selling. You will be working directly with senior clients through interviews & workshops.
You will lead the exploration of an eclectic range of business data, consumer research, user data, trends research, & synthesize them into Quests that can drive our clients' businesses forward. You will use the insights from the Quests to set out potential innovation territories & to make the case for innovations as your team develops them.

Whether your background leans more strategic or creative, you need to be equally happy on the other side of the fence.
Your thinking will need to translate into doing. You will be a great writer & presenter. You are responsible for getting your ideas to shine. Co: exists to help the impatient visionaries of the business world truly do, & this means putting more innovations out into the world.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Informed Insights: Developing informed insights requires rigorous research & observation. The strategy lead is responsible for developing the roadmap of how best to gather all the relevant information needed to inform Story & Doing. This may include the design & commission of quantitative or qualitative research, client interviews & working sessions, desk research online & using commercial data resources, in-field observation, leading focus groups & customer interviews, expert interviews, crunching quantitative data into market forecast & business models, working independently or in partnership with co:conspirator research partners.
StoryDoing development: You will work to invent, develop & sell in Stories that shape the future of the brands you work on. You will invent, develop & sell in Iconic Innovations to make the Stories real in the world - products, services & experiences.
Leadership: You will be responsible for leading processes & thinking, both internally at co: & externally with our clients & partners. You will set the tone for collaboration on these projects, while supervising the output & development of supporting team members.
New business: You will help identify, target & develop opportunities that could lead to new project assignments for co:collective. Key activities will include research, sourcing, & coordination of strategy presentations.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE:
It matters less where you come from & more what you've done. You've worked on change management & strategic development across multiple clients & categories. You've developed strategic thinking that has led clients to take action in the world & have a proven track record of propelling large scale organizations forward.
Other relevant experience includes:
10+ years' experience in relevant industries or environments, such as strategy or innovation consulting, client side management, or creative or marketing agency/consultancy
MBA or other advanced degree can be useful, but is not essential
Demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data (both qual & quant) to highlight actionable insights & resulting recommendations
The humility to roll up sleeves & work with the team to get the job done
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic thinking for a company or brand
Demonstrated ability to write proposals
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Acumen of the technology, computing, product development sectors is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills
