Job Title: IP Legal Project Assistant

Location: New York or Raleigh

The IP Legal Project Assistant will support the Legal & Product Marketing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth healthcare technology environment. This role will manage the companys clinical workflow content.

What You'll Do

  • Gain familiarity with existing Phreesia offered patient-reported outcomes (PROs) & screening tools available through existing product offerings
  • Receive, review, & research requests from the Sales & Customer Solutions teams for PROs & screening tools through email & Salesforce avenues
  • Track & continuously update the status of each request through support cases in Salesforce, Excel, & various internal documents
  • Review the requested content against Phreesias library of currently offered products & services
  • Research to determine if any IP restrictions or obligations apply to such requested content
  • Project manage requests & various statuses pertaining to external & internal licensing & contracting requirements
  • Follow detailed workflow guidelines on managing the deployment of the requested content in Phreesias products & services
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, & Sales Operations teams during the review, evaluation, & deployment processes
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, Product Management, Finance & license owners on license fees & legal review of any license agreements
  • Communicate with license owners and/or other external parties as necessary
  • Track license renewals as specified in agreements on an ongoing basis
  • Track customers license requirements (when applicable) to ensure compliance
  • Store, manage, & track license agreements & licensing requirements through Salesforce & other internal tracking tools
  • Provide guidance to teams as necessary around IP requirements

What You'll Bring

  • College degree
  • 3-5 years of IP licensing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Must have initiative, be a self-starter, & work independently
  • Ability to evaluate & balance legal risks & business objectives, & propose practical, business-friendly solutions
  • Ability to think outside of the box, identify process gaps as well as business areas for improvement, & take initiative to drive process improvement where applicable & agreed upon by the appropriate decision makers associated with this initiative
  • Must be comfortable working with ambiguity & rapid business changes
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage & prioritize multiple assignments, & meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate, engage, & communicate effectively across different teams & partners
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office & Salesforce
  • Extremely comfortable with new technology
