Summary of Role
The Directorof Business Development will be a key member in helping execute on our Business Development strategy, with an eye to continue our growth trajectory.
- Focus on uncovering new business opportunities & driving revenue
- Drive client conversations up-funnel, focusing on selling larger suite of strategic products & services
- Develop strategic plan for key accounts & defined categories
- Ensure that strong ties with key accounts are developed, maintained & leveraged for greater revenues & retention
- Manage internal & external sales processes
- Partner with marketing & client services teams to ensure winning proposals & successful engagements
- Minimum 6 years selling digital products/services, showing consistent achievement
- Experience presenting to senior clients & prospects
- Experience positioning, selling & negotiating strategic/customized client engagements
- Existing client & agency relationships; ability to develop senior level client relationships
- Passion for video & digital storytelling
- Able to represent Magnet Media at industry events
- Excellent written, oral, listening & communication skills
- Collaborative, respectful style, able to work with diverse team
- Detail orientation for implementation of complex strategies
- Assertive & proactive with a can-do get-it-done attitude!
