The head of Diversity Equity & Inclusion is responsible for the development & implementation of a DE&I strategy that ensures that our FanDuel employees around the world share a strong sense of belonging in a truly inclusive environment. This is a new Sr. Director role, & will include assessment of our current state, creation of a roadmap for future programs & practices, & execution of these plans as FanDuel continues to grow & scale at a rapid pace. The head of DE&I will report directly to the Chief People Officer & will work collaboratively across all areas of the organization to educate, engage, & create momentum for DE&I programming that drives positive business outcomes in a high growth environment.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Drive the successful design, implementation & management of a global DE&I strategy & associated action plans
  • Provide expertise to help teams build inclusive & respectful cultures, leveraging the diversity in their teams to drive creativity, innovation, productivity, excellent customer service & highly engaging work environments
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders across the organization to ensure active executive-level sponsorship for DE&I programming
  • Lead & enable company-sponsored Employee Resource Groups to provide both targeted programming for the members of those groups as well as content that serves to raise awareness across the broader FanDuel population
  • Partner with FanDuels Learning & Development team to develop a learning path that drives our inclusive culture, & ensure that DE&I strategies are integrated into all the companys leadership & learning programs
  • Partner with FanDuels Talent Acquisition team to design, develop & integrate key DE&I solutions into HR recruitment processes as we seek to attract a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate
  • Develop & maintain organizational metrics, provide appropriate updates on progress, recommend actions to support achievement of goals, & assess overall effectiveness of DEI initiatives
  • Build & scale a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, leveraging internal resources to reflect different perspectives & drive a cohesive set of objectives
  • Recognize & respond to market differences to ensure that we have a global plan that is adapted to the needs of regional markets
  • Maintain strong external network of peer DE&I leaders for the exchange of best practices, understanding of trends from the external environment, & incorporation of these learnings into our own DE&I strategy

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 7+ years experience implementing diversity & inclusion programs in complex, high growth, fast-paced organizations with well-established DE&I organizations & programming
  • Experience developing strategies & executing initiatives that drive measurable results within the context of the organizations talent & business strategy
  • Knowledge & understanding of inclusion & diversity principles
  • Advanced relationship-management experience & consulting skills, with an ability to influence, lead, engage & build consensus across various levels of leadership
  • Strong global mindset & cultural awareness to understand various global cultures, & knowledge of global diversity
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present to a wide range of audiences from leadership to the entire organization
  • Ability to lead & manage change in a fast paced, dynamic, & high-growth organization
