About The Team:

The Field Sales Director, Third Party Risk Solutions will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by delivering our tailored MAX security solutions to enterprise clients. MAX is a comprehensive professional services bundle encompassing third party & vendor risk, managed detection, & incident response services. You will be responsible for managing & expanding relationships with new & existing clients, particularly within supply chain ecosystems, ensuring they receive the highest level of security insights & guidance.  

NOTE: This role requires that the candidate either be located in the Detroit metropolitan area or has deep professional ties to the largest Global 2000 companies in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build & maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers in the supply chain & defense sectors, understanding their security challenges & requirements.
  • Sales Execution: Drive revenue growth through a consultative sales approach, identifying client needs, presenting SecurityScorecard solutions, & closing business.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of supply chain vulnerabilities & the cyber defense landscape to tailor security solutions for clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Customer Success, Solutions Architects, & Engineering to ensure a seamless client experience & ongoing support.
  • Market Expansion: Actively pursue new business opportunities & drive account expansion within targeted industries, focusing on supply chain & defense markets.
  • Client Education: Present thought leadership on supply chain defense & cybersecurity to educate clients & position SecurityScorecard as a trusted partner in securing their supply chains.
  • Pipeline Management: Track & manage sales pipelines, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, & goal attainment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles within the cybersecurity industry, preferably with a focus on supply chain defense or enterprise risk management.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain security threats, third-party risk management, & cyber defense strategies.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving sales & achieving quotas, with a consultative selling approach.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across departments to meet client needs & company objectives.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, & tools, including security ratings platforms & risk assessment methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Business, or Information Technology) preferred; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications & experience, & may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards & equity, among other company benefits.
