Team Overview:

The New Development team provides a first class, value-driven suite of marketing, development, & research services to the Companys developer clients. As a New Development Project Manager, you will be the primary liaison between the client & the Compass Managing Director throughout the entire development & sales process. You will work closely with our talented team & agents as well as with our in-house design, marketing & sales teams. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to multitask, & extremely organized with great attention to detail. The Project Manager must be able to work with & streamline communication between developers, architects, interior designers, branding agencies, media buyers & public relations firms. In this position, one must manage multiple projects at a time, so ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a requirement.

What will you do:

  • Manage projects from pre-development through sellout
  • Support the Sales Team in all marketing & sales initiatives
  • Develop & maintain marketing budgets & media schedules
  • Analyze digital campaigns for outreach optimization
  • Work with dynamic spreadsheets/CRM to track inventory & all pertinent sales information
  • Work with Compass Pre-Development Planning Team & Managing Director to advise clients on new development projects
  • Oversee entire marketing process from brand development to final sales
  • Select, recommend & manage appropriate vendor(s) leaders; (creative agencies, media agencies, PR firms, stagers, photographers, etc)
  • Create budgets & RFPs
  • Manage master timeline for project
  • Review & negotiate vendor contracts
  • Assist in the planning, ideation & supervision of events
  • Assist in hiring & managing on site administrative assistants 
  • Participate in new business development presentations
  • Direct research team & anticipate client research needs
  • Assist with analyzing floor plans & unit mix
  • Create comprehensive marketing plans for all new developments & work together to ensure all marketing collateral, media strategies, PR, etc coincide with the marketing plan
  • Liaise with advertising agency, PR firm & media buyers to ensure consistent overall branding
  • Assist with pricing & release recommendations along with Managing Director/Lead Agent & research
  • Lead weekly sales meetings & ensure that owner expectations are met

Who you are: 

  • You hold a Bachelors degree & a strong academic record
  • 5+ years experience in real estate, specifically with new development projects; including 2+ years of Project Management experience is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time & competing deadlines
  • Detail oriented approach to all tasks
  • Strong work ethic with ability to prioritize
  • Thrives in a fast paced, startup environment
  • NYS Real Estate License
  • Extremely proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Relationship management experience
