The role in a nutshell (TL;DR)

As an Information Security Engineer, you'll be working closely with our Chief Information Security Officer and playing a key role in our unique security team. Your work will be crucial in driving essential business needs & security programs, using cutting-edge tech & creative solutions.

You'll also collaborate with various teams across the companysuch as IT, R&D, & other expertsto ensure that our applications, products, services, & data are monitored & protected with the appropriate security controls.

We're looking for someone who will join our team in our Prague office

So, what would you be your task?

• Implementing & monitoring security procedures, policies, & hardening guidelines
• Ensuring the systems are patched, updated, & editable according to Similarweb Policy
• Implementing, configuring, & monitoring security tools & systems
• Automating information security-related infrastructure, endpoints, applications, cloud, & network security systems.
• Working with technical teams to implement & oversee secure processes, including vulnerability tracking, remediation activities, & secure requirements, to ensure good security practices are being implemented & executed.
• Handling security tickets as part of security operations on ongoing service & support.
• Creating & maintaining security documentation (e.g., technical or procedural requirements).

What were looking for:

• At least +4 years of working experience in the information security field 
• Experience working with security processes, integrations, & solutions such as FW, EDR, SASE, MFA, VPN, DLP, WAF, CDR, logs collectors, etc. 
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, GCP, Azure) 
• Knowledge in working with technical teams according to information security frameworks & benchmarks (e.g., OWASP, CSF, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.)
• Experience in working with security policies & standards such as ISO, SOC 2, etc.
• Experience in programming languages such as - Python, Bash, & PowerShell

Its a big plus if you have:

• Hardening endpoints capabilities , such as MacOS, Windows, & virtualization systems
