About the Role
Houzz is looking for a world-class Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Quantitative Marketing Team of Analysts, Data Scientists & Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation & support of our data systems. You will need to create rock solid datasets that are the source of truth for the analytics & data science teams. The ideal candidate will be a skilled developer, proficient in Python, with experience in tagging & data collection & with a passion for business intelligence, data organization & automation.
About the Team
The mission of the Quantitative Marketing Team is to assist Houzz's growth & monetization efforts by improving the return we get on our marketing spend. We use data driven insights, advanced analytics, machine learning & optimization algorithms to solve problems such as user click prediction, conversion rate & conversion value prediction, multi-touch attribution of marketing spend, media mix modeling, & customer lifetime value prediction. We solve core engineering problems of building & managing the data infrastructure, creating & scaling API integrations to support a variety of channels & vendors.
