The Role
BuzzFeed Editorial Video is looking for a Project Manager to bring their production & organizational skills to the Los Angeles or New York City office. We are looking for a smart, skilled, passionate self-starter that can work seamlessly with the various departments within Editorial Video.
This is a freelance position based in BuzzFeeds office in Los Angeles or New York City.
You Will
- Process payroll & check request paperwork for submission
- Source & book freelance producers
- Troubleshoot day-to-day production challenges & appropriately escalate as needed.
- Organize team brainstorms for high priority channel initiatives
- Take notes during brainstorms & keep track of claiming documentation
- Problem-
You Have
- Must have 2 years of production experience
- Familiarity with long-form & short-form digital content
- Impeccable time management skills, ability to multi-task / prioritize projects with sensitive deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of video pre-production, production, & post-production
- Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced production environment
- Excellent written verbal communication skills
- Self-starter that is able to see a task through all stages until completion
- Ability to work independently & with a team
- This position is approximately 40 hours a week
- Excellent attention to detail
