Key Account Manager

Shutterstock has an incredibly exciting opportunity for a seasoned Global Key Account Manager to support some of our prime accounts. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, value & partnership with our largest enterprise accounts. You will partner with an internal team that succeeds through dedication & a high-level of teamwork & collaboration. You will also partner directly with the clients leadership team, providing the highest levels of consultative partnership, engaging professionally, allowing you to act as a trusted advisor & advocate.

In this role, you will:

  • Closely collaborate with global counterparts to lead the expansion, ensure success & retention within your account base
  • Take ownership of the portfolio of business & enjoy building meaningful client partnerships
  • Facilitate long-term relationships with senior stakeholders & key decision-makers with regular meetings & Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Identify customer trends & needs & leverage internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Be a product expert to ensure an exceptional client experience during the initial sale, onboarding, & engagement & help to identify cross-sell & upsell opportunities
  • Be a team player with a passion & enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a high performing team
  • Manage complex global accounts with multiple opportunities across different functions supporting forecast & budgetary accuracy

  • Build & maintain close relationships with Marketing, Legal, Product, Content & Finance
  • Work predominantly within the region with the ability to travel

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Extensive Global Account Manager experience ideally within the B2B software/SaaS space
  • Proven experience as a leader, influencer & negotiator
  • Experience navigating & nurturing large & complex global accounts
  • Deep understanding of value drivers & a passion for revenue growth
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational & communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple systems, tasks & departments

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving & exceeding sales goals
  • Deep & ongoing industry knowledge of the vertical
  • Ability to drive results & collaborate with key decision makers within a large organisation
  • Superior planning, organisational & verbal skills
  • Ability to deal with complexity across geographic, political & socio-economic boundaries
  • Ability to forecast with accuracy & communicate key metrics across your account base
  • Experience in managing Global roll-outs
