The Role:

The Marketing Operations Director is a core member of our marketing leadership team & will be responsible for all aspects of marketing performance management, technology, operations, & process. With the goal of optimization, youll standardize our operations by defining, documenting, governing, & streamlining our marketing processes. As the owner of our marketing data, you will manage data collection, reporting, & refinement to align with our overall business goals. Youll also manage marketing budgets & inform strategic planning at the department & company levels. You will develop, implement, & maintain the technology stack required to support marketing strategies, working closely with Sales Operations to ensure sales system interoperability. Partnering with Business Intelligence & Data Science teams, you will define marketing performance metrics, deliver dashboards, provide actionable performance insights, & steer the development of lead scoring & propensity models that will be instrumental in achieving Newselas business goals. Youll also be partnering closely with the Chief Customer Success Officer, VP of Sales & Sales Operations team to build a pipeline management practice that spans all demand sources & market segments, establishing the metrics, processes, roles & responsibilities, SLAs & actionable insights that ensure Newsela is achieving its overall pipeline objectives.
