Sr. Business Analyst - Supply Chain IT

Position Description

The Sr. Business Analyst Supply Chain systems will be the lead & point of contact for supply chain business processes & integrations with E2Open & our 3PL partners (XPO, JB Hunt, etc...). This role will be responsible for monitoring & measuring the performance of supply chain system integrations to ensure an uninterrupted flow of data & information. The role serves as the primary point of contact for data interfaces & integration of supply chain technologies between our ERP system & E2Opens Integrated Planning & E2Net integration system. Competence in EDI transactions & familiarity with the corresponding transition types ex. purchase orders, transfer orders, receipts, deliveries, & fulfilments. Must be proactive & suggest improvements & fixes, or normalization & a repeatable approach when appropriate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participates in strategic & long-term planning for business process improvements & information technologies related to Supply Chain including planning & integrations with warehouse systems
  • Analyzes & harmonizes business processes & improvements across the business in support of demand planning, sales/operations planning, & supply chain reporting 
  • Strong understanding of technologies in supply chain & operations with experience in purchasing, finance resource planning, & procurement
  • Interacts regularly with stakeholders & partner vendors in the scoping of project deliverables & driving the appropriate delivery & ownership for ongoing success of project implementation
  • Coordinates & prioritizes IT support & resources to achieve department goals efficiently & effectively in support of the KPI strategy
  • Understanding existing business processes & technology to develop the to be state, & developing a transition plan to create measurable business value under the current state
  • Familiar with ERP technology platforms & functions (AS400, SAP, Blue Yonder, NetSuite, Infor), & WMS systems (Manhattan Associates)

Job Skills Requirements

  • Teaming up with business process owners, functional leads, & subject matter experts to define functional business requirements & updates/changes to our supporting business integrations
  • Helps drive the project cross-functionally from first detailing out the plan, collaborating to change business processes, & customizing the solution to meet our unique business needs 
  • Strong experience communicating with business users & other functional stakeholders regarding process improvement or automation initiatives within the supply chain & warehouse network
  • Understanding future business strategies & directions to anticipate technical needs such as new product launches or member experiences
  • Developing key metrics around project success, operations success, & business success in line with departmental KPIs & metrics
  • Understanding of EDI transactions: 810, 832, 855, 856, 945, 997, & VAN networks


  • Partner with global & local Finance, Supply Chain communities to ensure a complete understanding of requirements & quality in the delivery of business solutions
  • Form strong working relationships with Supply Chain staff that run the core inventory processes locally, regionally, & globally
  • Form strong working relationships with your Peloton peers & across the IT organization
  • Document & analyze current business processes & underlying systems/applications with swim lanes & landscape diagrams
  • Critically evaluate information gathered & recommend alternative solutions when available or appropriate
  • Monitor project progress, identify, & escalate potential project risks & delays to management
  • Communicate & collaborate effectively with technical staff & business users, & 3PL vendors
  • Coordinate & lead discussions to ensure understanding & alignment to projects, functionality goals, & company initiatives
  • Recognize the relationship, dependencies, & their impact on other projects
  • Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMO or Six Sigma Project Management Experience & a strong understanding of Waterfall & Agile/SAFE project methodologies


Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education & experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of business process, systems, or information technology experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with warehouse management & supply chain planning systems or equivalent technologies
  • Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart is a plus, Google Docs, Visio, Excel, SAP, NetSuite, JDA, Manhattan, Looker, Shopify, RF Smart, E2Open, XPO, JB Hunt
