THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Promotions Marketing Manager to drive our promotional strategy & customer retention. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team, with full ownership over promotional strategy & collaborate with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Commercial, Brand, Growth, Product, & Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue-driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Partner with the broader marketing team to develop a roadmap & playbook for sports promotions 
  • Analyze past performance to develop new proposals for promotions across all sports & customer value segments
  • Lead innovation on promotional mechanics & strategies at the all-customer, segmented & state-specific levels
  • Manage forecasting & management of multi-million dollar promotional budget
  • Manage development of the promotional calendar & roadmap 
  • Report on ROI for both all-customer & targeted offers. Work closely with the analytics team to understand promotional impact on customer value
  • Responsible for all aspects of end-to-end promotional development & execution
  • Liaise with the Customer Support & Trading team around CRM specific & wider marketing campaigns; ensuring the support team is informed about all live & upcoming offers 
  • Liaise with digital operations on having onsite content updated & promotions fulfilled
  • Lead customer marketing innovation by driving improvements in UX associated with promotions

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing promotions, or in a similar role
  • 2+ years of experience in managing or mentoring people
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of promotional impacts on financial performance & customer behavior
  • Analytically & commercially minded & comfortable making decisions using qualitative & quantitative data
  • Proven effective at project management & have strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communicator & display strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills & effective at working cross-functionally
  • Strong understanding of promotional, customer & CRM dynamics
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Comfortable with querying & logic (SQL knowledge a plus)
  • History of driving commercially successful outcomes
  • An avid sports & gaming fan, & have played FanDuel or competitive products
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
