The primary responsibility of the Regional Scientific Specialist (RSS) is to develop & maintain strong relationships with their counterparts in the insurance industry & translate our emerging data & models to a broad audience across the life insurance space.  RSSs both introduce the concept of MCED & through scientific discussions & address any gaps in understanding or misconceptions to key decision makers. They are able to effectively describe & present the most current clinical, scientific, & health economic materials supporting the clinical value & appropriate utilization of GRAIL's product(s). The RSS engages broad audiences of decision makers, including industry medical directors, executives, actuaries & regulators (Non-HCPs) with slides, abstracts & publications relevant to GRAIL's products & services, responding to unsolicited questions, participating in the development & creation of educational slides to be deployed in focused events, & a wide variety of meetings.  
 
In this field-based position, the RSS will develop & engage many stakeholders at key players of the life insurance space within the US.  Within GRAIL, the RSS will work cross-functionally with  a range of stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Paradigm Support & others within the Commercial organization.  This position will ensure that all interactions & activities in the territories adhere to corporate & industry compliance guidance.  Importantly, the position is designed to engage executives & decision makers who are educated in cancer epidemiology, population statistics & other healthcare measures, & are not themselves healthcare professionals.
