Away is looking for an Executive Associate to our General Counsel & VP of People, Process & Culture. The ideal candidate will manage their schedules, provide administrative support, & execute special projects. You will maximize productivity for two leaders who work closely to grow & scale the business, enabling them to drive the most value for the business, & youll build relationships throughout the organization .

In addition to being highly organized, youll thrive in this role if youre an incredible communicator. This is based out of our headquarters in Soho, New York City.

REQUIREMENTS

What youll do:

  • Anticipate needs of the General Counsel & VP of People, Process & Culture before & during each workday
  • Extensive & heavy scheduling, monitoring, & prioritizing of the day-to-day incoming communication & requests for time
  • Ensure GC & VP are kept on schedule & on time for meetings day-to-day
  • Manage calendars to ensure a productive & positive workflow to the day's activities
  • Stay up-to-date on company & department priorities & keep your finger on the pulse of the organizations needs
  • Support day-to-day issues relating to contract signature requests & contract workflow technology
  • Facilitate planning for offsites & external meetings
  • Resolve expenses monthly
  • Use excellent, professional written & verbal communication skills to interact with co-founders & other executives support teams, company leadership & employees at all levels as well as external partners, including law firms
  • Support implementation of an array of special projects, including legal operations, people processes & initiatives, international expansion activities & the evaluation, selection & onboarding of new vendors & partners
  • Interact with & develop resourceful relationships with colleagues across the company to help keep things running smoothly
  • Maintain & develop a working knowledge of internal databases, resources, & systems, including maintaining the internal legal file structure

Who you are:

  • Have at least 1-2 years of full-time experience as an Executive Associate or in a similar role providing administrative support to a senior executive
  • Heavy calendar & meeting planning experience required
  • Demonstrate ability to juggle & prioritize multiple tasks & projects simultaneously & successfully
  • Demonstrate ability to work with confidential information with utmost discretion
  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Excited by supporting others
  • Excellent Mac skills & superior proficiency in Google Calendar
  • Extremely organized & detail oriented
  • Possesses strong project management skills; one who thinks ahead & anticipates needsyoure never satisfied with the status quo, always thinking how can we do this better?
  • Hard working with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced & energetic environment
  • You love to travel (but thats a given)
