Improbable believes in a future where new, virtual worlds will augment human experience & become as meaningful, lasting & rich as the physical world. We call this the Multiversal Self.
Our platform, SpatialOS, lets developers transcend the limits of regular computation, allowing swarms of servers running in the cloud to cooperate in order to simulate worlds far larger & more complex than any single server could.
At Improbable, you are surrounded by people who want to improve everything & everyone around them, & who compel you to improve yourself. We're motivated by the fulfilment of solving hard problems to achieve something profound & transformative.
Improbable offers its customers SpatialOS, a state-of-the-art platform for simulating potentially many instances of a game world. SpatialOS addresses many concerns, including the effective distribution of information & work to user-specified simulation processes, the persistence of in-game data, the horizontal scaling of game worlds, client-side platform agnosticity & tools to improve developers' effectiveness.
To offer these capabilities, we have built several sets of tools, accompanying game developers in all phases of the game lifecycle. These tools cover building & iterating locally, distributing clients, starting remote services or monitoring a live game in production.
You will have the opportunity to design & implement a new portal to these existing services & future ones, unifying them under a common user experience. Our ambition is to give game developers a single, concise, reliable workflow.
