Job Description; 

Factor_ a brand of Hellofresh is seeking the Associate Director, B2B Sales.  As the Associate Director, B2B Sales will lead the new B2B sales team for Factor in the US (the largest ready-to-eat player in the US market). This role will report directly to the General Manager, Growth at Factor. The ideal candidate is comfortable formulating growth strategies & selling products to prospective & existing clients, especially in a fast-paced environment. From Day 1, this individual will move with speed & agility while continuously prioritizing the top priorities for the entire team, leading to accelerated growth quarter-over-quarter.

You will...  

  • Be responsible for end-to-end performance of the Factor B2B Sales division, with key objectives including new business accounts, trial orders, sales volume, revenue growth & EBITDA
  • Monitor & steer financial progress versus P&L targets each month
  • Build & lead a high-performing B2B Sales organization, including hiring, training, & coaching
  • Test & scale new offline & online channels efficiently, including LinkedIn, SEA, Facebook, conferences, in-person meetings, & more; developing an omnichannel B2B sales strategy approach (e.g., collecting customer feedback to adapt current product offering, leading to incremental revenue)
  • Leverage customer insights, industry trends, competition news, & market conditions in the sales strategy for the B2B organization
  • Define our growth strategy for B2B Sales, with core components including inbound & outbound strategy, demand generation, & product strategy
  • Be the liaison & build relationships with cross-functional partners across Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Operations, Technology & People teams to provide an exceptional customer & employee experience & drive results 
  • Effectively manage resources needed to deliver profitable growth; including budgeting, optimizing fixed cost expenses, creating the optimal sales team structure, & designing the staff compensation & incentive programs
  • Support sales representatives on large deals, at times handle own book of leads when building new sales channels
  • Provide regular reports & updates to the Factor Leadership team on sales performance & progress toward business plan goals & OKRs
  • Drive the creation & completion of sales collateral & marketing materials with the Product Marketing team, speaking directly to a clients business challenges & goals
  • Identify & expand business opportunities with existing clients
  • Optimize existing production, packaging, & replenishment strategy to ensure improved operational efficiency & margin structure
  • Travel on occasion to close large business deals & maintain relationships with top revenue clients

At a minimum, you have... 

  • 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in B2B Sales, & 1 in Sales leadership positions 
  • Evidence of very fast career growth/trajectory, high ambition levels, & previous ownership of P&L 
  • Strong & proven leadership skills, ideally having overseen a team of > 8 
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth & exceed sales targets
  • A highly data-driven approach to decision-making & strategy formation - i.e., comfortable with modeling goals in spreadsheets 
  • Experience building sales teams through a period of rapid expansion or from scratch 
  • Experience devising & implementing different customer & employee incentive structures to optimize performance 
  • Highly customer-focused with the ability to build & maintain strong relationships 
  • Excellent verbal, written, & interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, & dynamic environment 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines

NY: $140,800 - 176,000
