Warby Parker is on the lookout for an organized Associate Manager, Provider Relations to own the credentialing & contracting processes used to onboard & manage our network of eye doctors across the U.S. & Canada. In this role, youll also play a key part in making high-quality vision care more accessible to customers through a variety of our expert-driven services, from comprehensive eye exams to our Prescription Check services. What youll do:

  • Serve as the point person for new doctors, from their initial offer to start date
  • Manage the contracting process for doctors & communicate key contractual business terms to stakeholders, such as our Field Leadership, Retail Operations, Customer Experience teams
  • Manage & track the credentialing process with insurance carriers to ensure ODs are verified, then communicate status information to all stakeholders
  • Work with the Insurance Billing team to ensure all OD-related billing is accurate & completed in a timely manner
  • Verify doctors licenses, track their renewals, & review federal & state license registration databases for any infringements
  • Ensure doctors have the necessary malpractice & general business liability insurance to practice
  • Manage, verify, & audit all certificates of insurance, & handle internal & customer-facing communication concerning provider status
  • Coordinate with the Technology & Finance teams to make sure that new doctors are set up for success (i.e., securing them access to our systems; ensuring payments are completed on time)
  • Drive the contact lens registration process
  • Research & record local, national, & state board regulations
  • Identify ways to continually improve our processes & workflows

Who you are:

  • A skilled problem-solver with 4+ years of related experience
  • Comfortable working independently & owning your work from start to finish
  • Highly organized & detail-oriented (picking apart processes in the name of optimization makes your heart flutter)
  • A clear, professional communicator, whether working with your team or external stakeholders
  • Driven by the highest level of ethics & respectful of confidentiality
  • A voracious learner whos always seeking to improve yourself, your team, & the world around you
  • Ready to offer support whenever needed
  • Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Extra credit:

  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with CAQH
  • Contracting and/or compliance experience
