Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, & more, via their smartphones. Jackpocket is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to leverage a wealth of behavioral data & translate into actionable insights to improve customer experience & monetization of the product. Reporting to the Director of Analytics you will work directly with Product Managers & Engineers on a variety of initiatives using data to model expectations, evaluate tests & highlight areas of improvement within the app. You will have exposure to the full data analytics stack from defining raw data & data pipelines to developing the data model in our reporting layer & building dynamic dashboards. 

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, & maintain reports/dashboards for the Product team
• Collaborate with engineering to define event tracking needs
• Analyze funnels & customer journeys to identify opportunities for improvement
• Model outputs of potential initiatives to understand benefits & inform prioritization
• Define A/B tests with evaluation at their core
• Create & maintain A/B testing analysis frameworks that deliver automated insights
• Deep dive analysis of product features or flows, generating recommendations or ideas for testing
• Present findings & recommendations in a clear & concise manner

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a product analytics role with a focus on UA preferred
• Highly proficient in SQL with a natural inclination for rigorous self-QA
• Excel/Google Sheets master 
• Advanced user of BI/data visualization tools
• Expert user of product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
• Knowledge of data pipelines & ETL
• Deep understanding of A/B testing from setup to evaluation
• Proven track record taking ownership of analytics projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can collaborate with various teams to achieve success
• Ability to write specifications for technical tasks
• Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal form; intellectually curious, driven, & a creative problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications

• Looker experience (both development of LookML & creation of dashboards)
• Google Cloud experience (BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage)
• Knowledge of dbt & Fivetran
• Experience in a start-up environment
• Worked directly with Product Managers or embedded within a Product team

The annual base compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000
