As a Delivery Manager at Originate, you will be responsible for working with teams of product managers, product designers, & engineers to create & deliver custom software products to our partners. You should have a passion for running successful projects with the ability to deliver quality solutions consistently. You should get deeply involved in the day-to-day tasks while being highly motivated with the desire to become more of a strategic thinker who can guide, inspire, coach, & mentor our project team(s).
This role is part consultant, part software project manager, part psychologist. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure & communicate clearly & effectively with various internal stakeholders at all levels. You should be interested in & passionate about technology, innovation, & eager to learn about emerging technologies & new ways of working!
-Empower, motivate, & drive teams in an agile work environment, managing cross-discipline dependencies
-Create, adapt, & maintain plans & schedules, tracking key milestones
-Manage scope between product needs & Originates needs
-Set internal expectations on deliverables & processes
-Be aware of the project budget for both invoicing & forecasting, per contract guidelines
-Adjust & identify resource gaps & needs
-Conduct meetings including stand-ups & retrospectives
-Manage software product releases & associated dependencies
-Keep internal stakeholders up-to-speed & confident in our ability to deliver
-Provide Originate executive team with weekly project status reports, which track project risks
-Maintain a positive & collaborative mindset, & identify solutions to challenges
-Work independently without day-to-day management
-Led modern software product cross-discipline teams of at least 5 individuals
-Minimum 2 years of experience in managing Agile projects
-Managed a budget of at least $250K
-Familiar with Agile methodologies including Kanban, Scrum
-Familiar with project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello, Asana
-Familiar with software version control tools, such as GitHub
-Previously involved on the execution side (engineering, product, or design)
-Bachelors degree in Business or a related field, Technical degree a plus
-Consulting experience & Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
