MERCHANDISING STRATEGY ANALYST sought by FabFitFun in Los Angeles, CA.
Duties: Collect & analyze multiple data sets, draw insights, & make impactful recommendations for merchandise planning to strategically grow Subscription Box initiatives. Conduct research on consumer points & provide analytical support by identifying optimal box assortments, top performing products, & overall box customization capabilities. Work closely with our Marketing Consumer Insights Team to leverage a high-volume of consumer data to deliver actionable trend forecasting for our Brand Partnerships team. Measure & assess the data, & present digestible weekly & monthly reports to showcase strategic opportunities to internal stakeholders. Manage systematic updates around data & maintain proper product level attributes & data taxonomy. Partner cross-functionally to solve for limitations in data sets & partner with teams to identify future opportunities to supplement the data. Participate in the merchandising assortment process by helping to support the team with sample management & ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in marketing, fashion merchandising or related field; plus one (1) year of marketing experience in e-commerce & customer behavior.Must have experience or knowledge in the following: Merchandise Buying or Planning; Creating reports using Pivot Table & VLOOKUPS, & use of retail math; Internal cross-functional partnership & collaboration; Developing digital marketing strategies; Conducting market research & leveraging data insights regarding consumers; & Tracking industry trends & conducting competitive landscape analyses.
