THE POSITION:

We are seeking a driven & results-oriented Director of Internal Communications. This role will reporting directly to the Head of Communications. The successful candidate will lead seamless communications to our growing workforce, the office setting & culture that supports it.  The role will be responsible producing communications plans that promote awareness, engagement, understanding & transparency, while promoting the FanDuel groups goals & principles. You will help teams across offices & departments collaborate & communicate using multiple communications channels & methods to create impactful communications for our global employee population. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, flexible & understands how to implement content strategies to reach a fast-paced environment. 

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Create & execute internal communication plans that keeps our employee population informed & aware of important details related to their employment.
  • Draft executive internal communication including announcements, updates, & invitations
  • Develop proactive internal communications plans & campaigns to amplify key cultural initiatives
  • Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders & facilitate proactive communications internally
  • Drive channel selection for internal communications so they have a similar look & feel to our commercial communications
  • Ensure company initiatives & projects are successfully communicated to employees & stakeholders
  • Create & plan annual events for all office locations
  • Ensure that there is a sense of community & a consistent culture across every location
  • Execute opportunities for fun & team building to encourage cross-functional partnerships & develop relationships between colleagues
  • Work with our Marketing team to bring the highest production values that leverage our content studios for Townhalls & other important events

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience with internal communications preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with people at all levels of an organization
  • Experience crafting messaging for multiple channels, geographies, & audiences
  • Demonstrate sensitivity & discretion with privileged information
  • Strategic & creative thinker with experience in developing & executing communications plans across a complex organization.
  • Deep understanding of how to communicate information clearly, concisely & creatively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth organization, influencing stakeholders across businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, evaluate & implement solutions for business leaders
  • Previous experience managing a small team preferred
