Introduction:

Do you love spreading the word about Warby Parker to all your friends across the country? Do you have a passion for processes & an eye for detail? If so, you could be just who our Retail Operations team is looking for to focus on new store openings. The New Store Opening Coordinator will support the logistics of opening new Warby Parker locationsfrom ordering setup supplies to shipping orientation materials to supporting on-site facilitators on the ground. They will also have a hand in sourcing new supplies for our whole retail fleet & support project rollouts across retail. Read on for more details! 

What youll do: 

  • Maintain the master supplies list for new retail locations & ensure that items arrive on time to our consolidator, then to our stores 
  • Coordinate with our Supply Chain, Brand, Visuals, & Lab teams to ensure that their departments materials are delivered to the third party consolidator & checked in
  • Partner with third partner supply vendor to maintain supplies inventory for new store openings & identify ways to streamline the ordering & packing processes
  • Manage system & account creation for new stores to ensure that new locations are ready to go from the tech side
  • Provide remote support to the field team on-site executing training & store setup 
  • Act point-person for HQ partners on new store training & setup dates- maintain a calendar of dates & keep key stakeholders up to date on date changes to ensure that their items are scheduled correctly. Develop & deliver routine communication to these HQ partners to ensure all are regularly informed on NSO dates.
  • Partner with the Associate Manager, Retail Operations to provide support on retail support projects, support tickets, & execution of fleet-wide rollouts
  • Collaborate with other members of the Retail Operations team to identify ways to incorporate new store supplies & systems into the retail fleet, & implement fleet-wide supply & system rollouts at NSOs

  • Detail-oriented & able to focus on the minute tasks of a project while understanding how they relate to the end goal
  • A quick & decisive thinker who can work & adapt quickly as requests come in & processes change
  • A natural team player who likes working with others & building cross-team relationships
  • Process-driven & always looking for a way to make work more succinct & streamlined
  • An analytical problem solver with a no-task-too-big-or-too-small attitude 
  • A master organizer (e.g., you color coordinate your closet & alphabetize your bookshelves)

Extra credit: 

  • A strong working knowledge of G suite 
  • Experience with new-store setup, either at Warby Parker or another retailer
