GitHub, the home for all developers, is looking for a strategic & collaborative creative leader to join us as a key member of our fast-paced & growing marketing team. Youll oversee Product Marketing for the Enterprise Developer Persona for all GitHub products.

In this role, youll bring your experience understanding software development, DevOps & the developer persona to help communicate the unique value & capabilities of GitHub offerings to Enterprise developers. Through partnering with fellow product marketers, product management & our revenue organization you will define the strategic goals & quarterly OKRs for products & align efforts to drive key results & outcomes. In addition you will own the strategic positioning & messaging for our products for enterprise developers & will act as the advocate for the day-to-day users of our enterprise offerings.

You will also take ownership of the competitive program at GitHub, collecting & analyzing the competitive landscape while delivering facts based content to highlight GitHubs unique differentiators. 

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager you will report to the Head of Product Marketing. You partner & collaborate with peers across Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Developer Relations, Demand Marketing & Global Field Marketing. You will work with Marketing & Sales Ops to define core measurements & understand the efficacy of programs to optimize results over time.


Establish GitHub as the leader in developer first solution for the Enterprise 

  • Build compelling messaging & content for GitHubs growing portfolio of software development solutions
  • Support product adoption goals in new & existing customers with effective customer success informed programs & marketing initiatives 
  • Inform & influence Product Leadership on decisions related product roadmap & pricing/packaging 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for launch strategies & metrics for new products & own enterprise-developer focused content
  • Scope & lead creation of impactful customer education assets mapped to buying journey 
  • Develop effective go to market strategy leveraging available & nascent levers including sales teams, professional services, customer & seller incentive programs 
  • Support developer engagement through creation of effective presentation assets, conversation guides & other supporting materials 
  • Partner with sales to lead customer conversations & establish effective feedback loops to inform content creation & product direction 
  • Lead campaign messaging & strategy in partnership with Demand Generation team 
  • Collaborate with Channel Team to define & build an effective channel activation strategy 
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to identify patterns for success & areas to improve in the product, along with continuous improvement input for messaging & content. 


  • Proven experience in product marketing to enterprise developers
  • 5+ years of relevant work in technology marketing & software development 
  • Deep understanding of B2B software business models & the ability to build aligned programs to drive business growth 
  • Ability to succeed & embody a growth mindset in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities 
  • Exceptional written & oral communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail plus the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements & opportunities 
  • Strong familiarity with GitHub: our product & our community
