We are looking for a highly motivated & experienced leader to be the Chief of Staff to our Chief Commercial Officer. This department is responsible for driving innovation & growth through all facets of Tripadvisors B2B experience, from product management to marketing strategy through to sales/ revenue accountability. 

As a critical right hand, you will play an integral role in driving the planning & execution of Tripadvisors B2B business forward. The Chief of Staff sits at the intersection of the different business functions within B2B, & partners closely with the executive team to define vision, communicate progress, & ultimately deliver results. Ideal candidates for this role have experience & exposure to corporate strategy, planning & operations, internal communications, & cross functional alignment.  

What youll do:

• Be a consultant & partner to the Chief Commercial Officer. In particular, knowing how to divide & conquer strategic tasks to push the B2B agenda forward to make B2B leadership more impactful.
• Work alongside the CCO to prioritize B2B strategy & knowing when to bring in the CCO vs tackle the problem as a leader within the org.
• Serve as a decision proxy & represent the voice of the CCO in all touchpoints, particularly as it relates to internal communications & as a strong leadership presence within Tripadvisor.
• Serve as a culture ambassador for B2B, driving connectivity & awareness across offices / locales to enhance the employee experience
• Lead & partner on special projects for areas with high visibility, growth & revenue impact.
• Involved in & fully embedded in strategic planning for the B2B org.
• Curate & present the B2B strategy organization-wide, for the purposes of board presentations, Town Halls, & all internal communications.
• Find ways to bring more accountability into the organization by setting up standard ways of progress reporting & cross-functional alignment.
• Create a structure to improve visibility with & accountability to the CCOs direct reports establishing strong relationships with leaders across the org & becoming a trusted advisor within B2B, & leadership at Tripadvisor.
• Develop high quality processes to improve how we operate & drive culture company-wide.

Who you are: 

• 10+ years of experience partnering with executives to navigate complex businesses & matrixed organizations.
• Experience working alongside senior-level executives to identify, solve, & tackle critical problems & push an organization forward within their strategic planning agendas.
• Ability to build & maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Possess an analytical, strategic & structured mindset with entrepreneurial drive.
• A self-starter with a bias towards action.
• Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to break down problems to expedite finding a solution to larger business problems.
• Excellent writing skills that can translate complex business ideas into digestible communications for the proper audience (board members, employees, leaders, etc.)
• Experience as a people-oriented leader, always considering the impact of your actions on those around you.
