What youll do

DV is looking for a strategic client analytics leader with proven experience finding stories in data to join our Marketing Analytics team. In this player-coach role you will lead a team of analysts & work closely with the Marketing, Product, Sales, & Sales Engineering teams to support a blue-chip client roster in strategic account leadership as well as people & process management.   • Develop, mentor & oversee team of Analysts & Senior Analysts
    • Evaluate team & individual performance against goals & lead career pathing
    • Project manage & develop content for onboarding, training, local reporting, template reporting & ad-hoc analyses
    • Distribute & monitor workload across the team
    • Act as hiring manager for open positions on the team
    • Lead or assign & oversee strategic test analyses & recaps for your region
    • Serve as escalation point for your team on key issues; drive toward solutions for the larger team
    • Optimize team workflows & cross-functional collaboration
  • Own reporting & analytics for a short list of strategic global accounts
    • Collaborate with client services to lead select accounts from a data & analytics perspective
    • Drive measurement discussions & QBRs with key client stakeholders at both the global & local level
    • Extremely client facing in communication & presentations
    • Provide strategic insights - translate raw data into usable takeaways & actionable insights for quarterly business reviews, monthly campaign analysis & other sales & client support activities
    • Identify data stories that showcase the value of DV services for clients & prospects
    • Add value to account relationships & help use data to upsell & increase client stickiness
    • Build & present value add & savings models to prove value
  • Develop & maintain strong, active relationships with key internal stakeholders including: peer managers on client analytics; sales; account management; customer success; etc.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the company including proactively identifying case studies & trends & sharing them in a market-facing manner
  • Represent client analytics in contributing to product marketing & product feedback loop

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree from an Accredited Institution
  • Commensurate years of experience in an analytical capacity (research, data & analytics, or insights)
  • Commensurate experience in the digital media/marketing or ad tech space
  • Experience leading small teams of analysts or similar roles hiring, onboarding & people management are essential
  • Thoroughly comfortable leading & contributing to client-facing presentations & discussions with both strategic, high-level stakeholders & day-to-day contacts
  • Curious, self-starter & an analytical mind - you are not afraid to ask questions
  • Excel & PowerPoint pro - you can do VLOOKUP in your sleep, are a pivot whiz, & can't get enough of shortcuts; experience mentoring employees to improve these skills
  • Experience writing & editing SQL queries; general familiarity with relational databases & database programming languages
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a cross-departmental team - you will be at ease switching from conversations with the marketing team to the data team & speak their respective languages appropriately
  • Experience finding interesting, actionable insights within vast data sets to tell a story
  • Experience editing & writing SQL queries
  • Digital agency or ad tech experience
  • Familiarity with DoubleVerify or other verification data
  • Experience with remote team leadership
  • College coursework in statistics, information technology, computer science, business and/or marketing
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency in languages in addition to English
