Lyft is looking to hire a qualified & experienced Accounting Consolidations Manager to its Accounting team. This a crucial role that will drive the worldwide consolidation process within the Controllership team. The role provides a challenging opportunity as it encompasses day to day controllership duties as well as focuses on a number of project based initiatives to improve the consolidated financial reporting process

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Global consolidations process within Oracle & other financial systems. Ensure Financials statements are prepared as per USGAAP
  • Collaborate & align business partners to obtain required financial information. Assist in improvements to make processes more efficient & effective
  • Prepare & review journal entries & account reconciliations, as well as preparing financial reporting & flux analysis
  • Perform monthly revaluations, translations, eliminations for legal entities, & maintain supporting documentation & reconciliations
  • Maintaining the integrity of the global chart of accounts & related cross mapping to legacy ERPs
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions & execute per the existing intercompany agreements
  • Responsible for validating system interfaces & troubleshooting consolidation general ledger issues while working with IT
  • Assist in developing & maintaining accounting policies & procedures & ensuring SOX compliance in areas of responsibility
  • Support internal & external auditors in the periodic review of the Company financial records 
  • Perform projects & provide ad-hoc information requests, as needed

Experience:

  • 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance & CPA preferred
  • Requires minimum of seven years in Accounting, including Big 4 experience, & larger multinational organizations
  • Demonstrated initiative & ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives & deadlines
  • Organizational, verbal, & written communication skills are a must
  • Accounting research & problem solving skills required
  • Highly detail oriented & ability to multitask is a valuable asset
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills must have significant experience
  • Microsoft & Google applications; Oracle cloud is preferred
  • Ability to operate independently & as part of a larger functional team
