The Coding department focuses on building features & advancing work related to Repositories & Pull Requests. We work in a department-wide squad system where folks can work on either of these product areas, with staff engineers operating outside of a squad in order to play a key role in supporting all squads. The Coding department is the heart of GitHub, focusing on new & exciting projects, existing features, & continuing to make these GitHub workflows better for all developers.
