About the job

You will have the opportunity to partner closely with executives to drive execution on high profile initiatives in support of business priorities. The ideal candidate for this role is curious & thinks proactively by making improvements within the orgs they support before they are asked. You will serve as a point person for both your executives direct reports & the administrative business partners in your organization. You will provide proactive calendar support, juggling multiple deliverables with competing deadlines & take effective action without knowing the full picture. 


In this role, youll:

  • Complete a variety of everyday tasks supporting two Vice Presidents in the Segment Go-to-Market team - specifically, for the VP Marketing & the VP of Customer Success, Professional Services, Partnerships, & Business Development - including, but not limited to, managing complex & busy calendars, handling end-to-end meeting coordination & facilitation, coordinating & booking travel, filing & approving expense reports.

  • Partner with your execs to understand their priorities, stack-rank meeting requests & redirect as needed, work independently & make quick decisions on behalf of your executive(s).

  • Draft presentations, take meeting minutes/actions, & coordinate oral & written communication for executives.

  • Act as a point person for your executives direct reports & team, build strong cross functional relationships, maintain team morale, & serve as a culture champion.

  • Organize & assist with special events (like team building activities, leadership summits, offsites) & ensure successful meetings through research, participant coordination, material preparation, & logistics management.

  • Recognize where processes can be improved & make adjustments, own long term projects & have a deep understanding of the overall business. 

  • Project manage ongoing initiatives via meeting management, document organization, & both email & in-person follow-ups. Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure successful project completion.

  • 5+ years experience supporting executives in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the High Tech industry, with the ability to make good decisions in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Superior attention to detail, & strong verbal & written communication skills along with excellent organizational skills.

  • High level of integrity & discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships, partner closely with leaders, & keep multiple teams & projects on track in parallel.

  • Experience with contract management, procurement processes, & proficiency with common administrative tools (i.e. Zoom, G-Suite, etc.)


  • Internal communications experience - leading & developing org-wide all hands meetings, drafting emails/program updates, inbox management

  • Project management experience

  • Experience planning & preparing for business operating cadences such as Quarterly Business Reviews or Long Range Planning meetings.

  • Experience supporting go-to-market executives is a plus.


Twilio is a Remote First employer; however, due to the nature of this role & executives it will be supporting, candidates need to be based in North America & have the ability to come into the San Francisco office on a periodic basis in order to execute in person meetings & events. 

Approximately 10%  travel is anticipated.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $90,320.00 to $112,900.00.

  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, & geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilios equity plan & for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
