The Channels & Service department focuses on expanding Squarespaces core customer base by developing & scaling solutions for high-value customers, like creative professionals, medium-sized businesses, & large enterprises. 

We are looking for a passionate B2B Content Marketing Manager to support our growing Professional User & Enterprise business lines. As a natural storyteller with a strong strategic lens, you'll set the content marketing strategy & manage the execution for each of our target customers. You'll partner closely with Business Leads to define the role content marketing can play in our business objectives of growing these businesses through acquisition & retention, & oversee work to achieve those goals. Youll manage a team of in-house & freelance creators & the relationship with external digital agencies to help you execute on your strategy through tactics such as transactional & marketing emails, sales enablement material, guides, blog posts, video tutorials & live webinars. Additionally, this role will collaborate across the organization with our Marketing, Creative, & Video content teams to ensure the holistic content strategy aligns strongly with the Squarespace brand.

This role is based in New York & reports to the VP, of Channels & Services


  • Lead the content strategy for Professional User & Enterprise in collaboration with business leads & marketing counterparts
  • Develop multi-channel, multi-quarter campaigns & content calendars
  • Manage a team of creators & ensure efficient & on-time delivery of high-quality content in a variety of formats & media
  • Identify relevant metrics to track performance of content initiatives & the team
  • Review performance metrics & other feedback, & iterate on strategy & optimize execution based on results
  • Collaborate with our Product Marketing team through the creation & delivery of proposals, calendars, project plans, & creative briefs
  • Partner with business leads & marketing counterparts to develop brand guidelines
  • Manage outsourced content creation including freelance & agency relationship management, & budget tracking
  • Develop processes to ensure that content remains up to date & relevant.
  • Occasionally research & write copy, as needed, for various channels including forums, web pages, emails, newsletters, blog posts, product guides, sales enablement materials, video scripts, etc.


  • Track record of developing comprehensive strategies & tactics, & effective leadership
  • 8-10 years of experience in B2B content development and/or content marketing
  • Experience managing a team or otherwise leading others in content development indirectly 
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally & with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong sense of empathy for creative professionals & their clientele
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with Squarespace or other content management systems
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Iterable
