Were looking for an exceptional IT Support Engineer to help GoCardless support our employees as well as scale & automate our IT function.

The role:

We enable GoCardless employees to focus on what matters most to them by removing all potential distractions: from Wifi to networking problems, we are there to make everything seamless! As an IT Support Manager you will be involved in supporting our employees as well as improving our internal support tools & processes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about offering an exceptional user experience through end user support as well as making IT infrastructure & processes as smooth as possible. You will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting, managing & improving GoCardless' internal IT infrastructure & processes.

In this role you will:

  • Efficiently & effectively troubleshoot & resolve daily IT issues reported by end-users.
  • Track open tickets, prioritize, & document resolution of end-user requests.
  • Troubleshoot advanced problems in networks, applications & hardware.
  • Work on projects to design & build infrastructure.
  • Make sure all our users & devices are compliant with our security standards.

You will also be a key contributor to:

  • Providing a world class customer experience
  • Designing & deploying new offices
  • Implementing new process
  • Ensure the security of our systems & working practices

  • Mac OS X
  • Google Suite
  • Slack & Zoom for communications
  • Munki
  • Meraki
  • Atlassian Suite

Given the versatile nature of the role, were looking for someone who learns fast, enjoys collaborating with others, & is a pragmatic decision-maker.

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • You are passionate about helping out people - be it solving an issue or teaching them how to do something - you love people & helping them.
  • You dont mind getting your hands dirty - you like to get involved with all aspects of IT & everything that comes with it. No job is too big or small for you. 
  • You have extensive knowledge of macOS, know how to troubleshoot it;
  • You understand how networks work, & love figuring out whats wrong when they dont.
  • You have experience with Zoom rooms, event set ups & management 
  • You like to build automation to setup, configure & manage our growing fleet of devices;
  • You love to automate software & have a passion for open source projects;
  • Youre a team player & enjoy working towards a common mission. 
  • You have excellent verbal & written communication skills.
